Say cheese!

Gang, I'm making my maiden voyage to Milwaukee tomorrow. I know the art museum is supposed to be off the chain, but are there any other must-dos?

It's a quick trip, but I'm determined to make the most of it.

Ooops! I'm probably too late, but I guess I wasn't going to suggest anything, anyway, since I barely know anything about Milwaukee other than the art museum (which, you're right, it's uhmazing.)
However, once you get back, let me know how you feel about it - the several times I've been up there, I always felt a little creeped out... it's a really cool city, but totally feels like a ghost town to me!

Sadly, I'm also late! And I'm also from Milwaukee. But if you ever go again, be sure to check out the Third Ward District, just south of the main downtown area. There are a lot of specialty boutiques, art galleries, and the Eisner Museum of Advertising and Design.

omg, so totally Melina! I commented on how empty the streets and highways were at least enough to heartily annoy my traveling companions. it was weird, especially with the NCAA tournament going on.

And I did get to the Third Ward, which was super fun. I ended up buying some cool pottery and vintage candlesticks from a guy named Paintball Dave.

I think I'll go back!
