On a Le Creuset through my alley...
...I scored big!
I found an awesome 2-quart Le Creuset (flame orange too!) cast-iron pot just waiting for me to scoop it up and give it a new home. These babies retail for $125. I can't believe someone left it in the alley--and it didn't even have a dead rat or anything gross in it.
Thanks, Chicago! I'm a lucky bottom feeder.

I'm really jealous. Good eye!
Nice work. But I hope you boiled the pot in a solution of hot water and bactine before you used it!
Oh yeah, totes. I let it soak in soap bleach water for three days. The three days was mostly because I was too lazy to finish the project, but let's just say it was for extra disinfection.
